Ko Olina Family Photographer | Oahu Hawaii | The Nogueira Ohana

Secret Beach, Oahu - Family sessions have to be one of my favorite. I love connecting with the kids, and being able to help them open up to capture who they really are in the photographs. This session was done at Secret Beach in Hawaii. The family was staying at Aulani resort, so we decided to find a location that was close where they could walk. We started at sunrise, and were welcomed on the beach by a seal. They were super excited to see that, so they took a few photos.

We started taking photos, and then they got wet by a few waves. We were all laughing and having the best time, I loved the chemistry this family had with each other. You could feel the love between them. The daughter and I really got along, she was posing her parents and suggesting differnt poses, and I LOVED that. She was the sweetest soul ever, at the end of the session she gave me some rocks she was finding during our session.

I love being able to connect and interact with my clients, because by the end of the session we become friends. I love that. We ended the session with some fun jumping poses, and of course throwing up shakas!
